Vision Statement:
The Affordable Housing Program will asses the housing needs of low-moderate income persons living in Atlanta, who are interested in homeownership, in Atlanta,; We will provide housing counseling, and provide homeownership opportunities, resulting in homebuyers for all that apply.
Mission Statement:
The Atlanta Affordable Housing Program will bridge the gap between persons who seek affordable homeownership, including, individuals who recently lost their homes. Prospective homeowners may have had barriers preventing them from becoming homeowners and the program will remedy this problem by providing credit counseling, financial literacy, information on down payment and closing cost assistance, loan modification, mortgage fraud, predatory lending practices and home maintenance.
